P2 & P3’s trip to Armagh Observatory & Planetarium

The children have really enjoyed learning all about Space. They have created planet fact files, researched famous astronauts, completed science experiments, presented work to their peers and had the pleasure of welcoming two past pupils to share their knowledge with us.

We finished our topic with a fun, interactive and educational visit to the Planetarium. Here the children got the opportunity to dress up as an astronaut, experience life in space in the dome theatre, build and launch a rocket. It really was an 'Out of this World’ school trip.
