Primary 5 put on a wonderful performance - 'St Patrick and the Shamrock' today. The story tells of how Patrick, a 16 year old boy, is taken captive to Ireland to work as a slave on Mount Slemish in Ireland before returning to Ireland as a Bishop.
The children have shown great enthusiasm throughout our month of practising and have grown in confidence. They were extremely excited to showcase their play to both their school community as well as they family! With dancing sheep, cheeky leprechauns, frightened druids, excited farmers and royalty amongst others, the children entertained their audiences! Tom is missing from the photos but he was super in the lead up to our play - as a jolly farmer.
With a lot of support from Mrs Kearns, Mrs Mc Kiernan, Mrs Rice and Mrs Mohan as well as Miss Bogue, they pulled off a great showcase of talent in acting and singing. They should be very proud of themselves! Well done Primary 5!
