P4/5 had a lovely morning working with YENI on a topic called 'Our Community'.

The children explored:

  • The features of a community
  • The features of their local community
  • Took part in group activities to promote their creativity, thinking skills, managing information and making decisions
  • How voting works and took part in a democratic class vote
  •  Government and taxes (They all got paid a wage, then had to pay taxes!)
